Here We Are Available in Canada Now!
Very few artists under the age of 30 exude the same
road-tested confidence that Montreal’s Andie Duquette showcases on her latest
album Here We Are.
And that’s just the stage-ready star-power talent that recently attracted
Spectra Music Group to offer the singer/songwriter a full U.S.-based deal,
officially introducing Andie to America this April 20, 2018!
Although Here We Are marks her first foray into the world of Country music,
Andie’s musical journey has been in constant motion since she was a toddler.
At age 5, she was chosen to sing the French adaptation of the theme song to
PBS’s iconic children’s program Sesame Street. As Andie continued to pursue
singing throughout her childhood and teenage years, she harbored a fascination
with powerful rock songstresses such as Pat Benetar and Joan Jett. But it was
when she was first introduced to the music of Shania Twain that the seed for
her future country music career was planted.
In 2013 Andie was a contestant on TVA’S La Voix, Quebec’s version of The Voice.
Her fearless attitude and impressive vocal chops brought her all the way to the
semi-finals, at which point she caught the attention of renowned producer Tino
Izzo who has worked with the likes of Celine Dion and Bobby Bazini. Together,
they fine-tuned Andie’s signature sound, a blend of Country and Rock that is
unmistakably her own.
