BISHOP BRIGGS RELEASES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DEBUT ALBUM CHURCH OF SCARS OUT NOW
Island Records artist Bishop Briggs, who has
amassed over 400 million global streams and soared to #3
on the Alternative chart with her massive RIAA gold single “River,” releases
her highly anticipated debut album “CHURCH OF SCARS” today.
Following her electrifying recent performances on American Idol as
part of their all-star duets round (watch those performances HERE and HERE), Bishop performed
her defiant new single “White Flag” on The Late Late Show
with James Corden last night. Watch that performance HERE
"I am so proud to be sharing my first ever album,
“Church of Scars”, with all of you. The title came from the track “Hallowed
Ground” and it was a lyric that said, “my heart is a church of scars”. It had
to be the album title because it’s how I felt while creating what you are about
to hear. It was about being unafraid of those wounds. So, with that being said,
I hope you feel less alone by hearing this album." – Bishop Briggs
CHURCH OF SCARS, the highly anticipated
debut album from Bishop Briggs out today, features career catapulting
singles “River” and “Wild Horses” as well as “White
Flag” and “Lyin’” featuring Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons.
The final tracklist is as follows: 1. Tempt My Trouble * 2. River * 3.
Lyin’ * 4. White Flag * 5. Dream * 6. Wild Horses * 7. Hallowed Ground * 8.
Water * 9. The Fire * 10. Hi-Lo (Hollow).
Bishop Briggs’ single “White Flag” is approaching top 25 at Alternative
radio with support from Sirius XM Alt Nation, KROQ and Alt 98.7 in LA, Alt 92.3
