The Marzouk Bros Announce Newest Toronto Restaurant at King/Bathurst: REGULARS

Nader and Patrick Marzouk, Co-owners, bring their penchant for quality and fun to Regulars, a new restaurant and bar that’s set to become the neighbourhood’s go-to local for elevated food and drink. Regulars is taking over the space that was once Blowfish, at the corner of King Street and Bathurst in Toronto. The property has been entirely transformed with trend-setting décor that takes inspiration from the gambling halls and casinos of the 1920s to Hollywood’s Golden Age, mixed with the raw edginess found on the streets of Toronto’s nearby West Queen West neighbourhood. Regulars’ menu, by Chef Ron Stratton, takes your favourite bar snacks and transforms them into elevated snack options and full-meal dishes.

“We never rest on our laurels, and know that to be a key disruptor in this industry, you need to stay ahead of the trends and provide guests with something new and innovative,” said Patrick Marzouk. “Similar to Figures, we want our guests to walk in and feel that “wow factor” – we’re not just serving up dinner and drinks, we’re providing you with an experience,” added Nader Marzouk.

When Figures opened its doors in March 2017, the Yorkville establishment was quickly embraced by dining and cocktail seekers, as well as celebrities and VIPs for its unique offerings on and off the menu. Touted as one of Toronto’s best new restaurants by critics, Figures will be a great place for stargazing during film festival and fashion week season having previously hosted the likes of Lilly Singhthe Toronto Maple Leafs, Cedric The Entertainer, Roxy EarleLennox LewisJose Bautista, Kardinal OffishallDeMar DeRozanJonathan Cheban, among many others.

Located just west of the TIFF Bell Lightbox, Regulars is also sure to be a Toronto Film Festival hotspot this year – updates to be provided soon. The 4,000 square-foot restaurant at 668 King Street West offers seating for 180. The space was designed in partnership with Prototype Design Lab and features an art installation piece by world-renowned artist, Alejandro Monge.
