New upscale restaurant, envisioned by Alex Haditaghi will open in Toronto this December featuring top chefs Romain Avril and Sylvain Assié

Alex Haditaghi, one of Canada’s most recognized tech and real estate entrepreneurs, announced today plans to unveil a reimagined iconic east-end culinary destination, Neruda, during the holiday season of 2018. Outfitted with the world’s largest Argentinean inspired open fire grill and spearheaded by leading French-Canadian chefs, Neruda will offer a global inspired cuisine and unique dining experience, marking it one the most unique restaurant destinations to enter the Toronto culinary scene.

Executive Chef Romain Avril and Chef de Cuisine Sylvain Assié will join forces to offer an elevated palette of curated fusion dishes for food lovers across the GTA. Fueled by the highest quality local and organic ingredients, guests will be treated to the ultimate food journey with a vibrant and unique menu paying homage to Latin, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern heritage.

“We’re invested in offering a modern approach to some of our favourite dishes from around the world,” says Executive Chef Romain Avril. “The menu will include robust options including vegan and seafood dishes. Having world’s biggest and best wood burning grill to prepare food on makes this an exciting experience for myself and the city of Toronto.”

Among the many unique features of the restaurant, Neruda will boast the world’s largest Argentinean-inspired grill, custom made for the restaurant, dining tables built from hand-crafted vintage bowling alley lanes and rooms draped in imported Italian marble as part of the renovation of the alluring waterfront venue. Neruda’s luxe interior and delicious culinary offerings aim to attract the city’s elite for a refined culinary experience at an approachable price.
