Asian Doll Drops New Video "Rock Out"
Asian Doll just dropped her next video "Rock Out" via Complex
Fresh on the heels of her most recent video "1017"
featuring Gucci Mane and Young Mal from her newest project "So Icy
Princess". 1017 Eskimo Records / Alamo Records artist Asian Doll
drops new video for "Rock out". The video sets the scene for a female
fronted rap game led by the first lady of 1017, directed by Alpha Male
Visuals and filmed on site in Atlanta referencing a tongue in cheek nod to
"Hustle and Flow".
When asked about the process Asian Doll had this to say:
"It was important for me to make a video for 'Rock Out' because I've never made a record with that type of west coast vibe before. I wanted to do something for my west coast fans. The concept for the video was inspired by Hustle & Flow, but more funny. We wanted to make the fans laugh like they were watching a short comedy film. I'm showing everybody my acting side and creative side."
Asian Doll, after receiving much praise for "So Icy Princess" has been quick to note this is just the beginning, staying focused with her eyes on the prize saying:
"My biggest goals for 2019 are to go gold and platinum. I want to sell records and chart. I also want to have big performances at the BET and MTV Awards. Basically, I want to take everything up a notch."
