Once banned YSL documentary premiering in Toronto

Toronto’s fashion start-up Archival Toronto is excited to host the Canadian premiere of the long-banned Yves Saint Laurent documentary ‘CELEBRATION by Oliver Meyrou.’

Banned by Yves Saint Laurent’s notoriously image-conscious, business partner Pierre Bergé from release after its initial screening in 2007, this documentary gives a rare backstage glimpse at YSL and his couturier, following them from sketching and developing the house’s final collection, leading up to his retirement in 2002.

The Canadian premiere will be at Fox Theatre
