Vegan Fashion Week Proved a Stylish Vegan World is Possible and Rises in Los Angeles

Vegan Fashion Week, a historic event dedicated to elevating ethical fashion globally, revealed its highly anticipated "Vegan World" in exclusivity to attendees during its grand debut at the California Market Center in Downtown LA on February 2-3.

Ahead of the events for many notable fashion weeks around the world, Vegan Fashion Week made a huge statement in the fashion industry and invited a selection of forward-thinking exhibitors to showcase innovative, cruelty-free, and sustainable alternatives in an elevated "Vegan World". Emmanuelle Rienda, founder of the movement, curated the best of vegan fashion and innovation worldwide to show a cruelty-free world is possible and already accessible.

“I created a world with exhibitors from across the globe to show vegan alternatives that are ethical, sustainable and elevated,” says Vegan Fashion Week creator Emmanuelle Rienda. “You can protect the planet in style, it is possible to align your lifestyle with your values now that cruelty-free and sustainable alternatives are accessible, it starts with what you decide to eat, put on your skin and wear everyday"

Following the inaugural runway at The Natural History Museum, guests had the opportunity to travel to the fashion district of Los Angeles to experience a "Vegan World" at the California Market Center, with a curated selection of animal-free designer pieces, and a vegan showroom offering cruelty-free fashion, beauty and food alternatives sourced globally. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with conscious and like-minded individuals through activations and experiential exhibitions, and a conference featuring intellectual panels discussing the most critical issues in the fashion industry and the existing alternatives. Themes that were explored include: Animal Rights, Social Justice, Circularity, Technology & Intersectionality.
