TORONTO CARIBBEAN CARNIVAL SELECTS TOTAL PR AS PUBLIC RELATIONS AGENCY

The Festival Management Committee, representing The Toronto Caribbean Carnival (formerly known as Caribana) has selected TOTAL PR as it’s official public relations and marketing agency in Canada. 

TOTAL PR, a full-service communication, digital strategy and event marketing agency, will be responsible for managing the media relations across Canada and the USA to raise awareness of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival. 

The Toronto Caribbean Carnival is the official Caribbean festival overseen by the Festival Management Committee and recognized as a significant international event; it is the largest cultural festival of its kind in North America. 

This year, the festival celebrates its 52nd anniversary with four glorious weeks of Caribbean music, cuisine, and entertainment. The Toronto Caribbean Carnival is an absolute spectacle of visual and performing arts.

TOTAL PR will focus it’s communication efforts on targeting the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including the cities top ‘drive markets’ - Buffalo, Detroit, Rochester, Montreal and Ottawa to gain regional and national exposure.  

Under the direction of the Festival Management Committee, TOTAL PR will be responsible for aligning the public relations strategy to current marketing trends with a critical focus on targeting Millennials, a tech-savvy generation that captures every moment on social media. TOTAL PR will develop and tailor a social media campaign based on specific festival events throughout the calendar year to target this lucrative demographic in addition to the Caribbean diaspora.
