LO LO RETURNS WITH RELEASE OF “STRANGER'S ARMS” FEATURING TORONTO POP FAVOURITE DCF
Staking her ground in the Canadian pop scene with the release of her debut EP Sweater Collection earlier this year, Lo Lo has teamed up with Toronto favourite DCF for the release of her newest single “Stranger’s Arms,” remixed by Nick Henriques. Available for streaming everywhere today, Lo Lo has also dropped the official music video – premiering on Popdust.
The video sets a moody tone - a chronicle of two ex-lovers on a night out, searching for one another in strangers, yet narrowly missing each other at every turn. Shot throughout the pair’s hometown of Toronto and directed by Justin Alexis (bülow, Virginia to Vegas, etc.), the video culminates with Lo Lo clutching her ex’s favourite sweater; a signature Easter egg that has been accentuated throughout her releases.
On the “Stranger’s Arms” music video, Lo Lo says, "Broken phones, missed calls, too many drinks, and shitty bars full of people feeling lost…just your average Saturday night out. Stranger’s Arms is about two people who were once in love. Now broken hearted, they look to mend their hearts in the arms of strangers. They each think that they’re the ones who “f*cked up” the relationship, and when they try to call each other at the exact same moment, they both think that the other sent them to voicemail."
