SATURDAY LIFE BARBER SHOP IN SCARBOROUGH

Saturday Life Recording Artist, Sage Harris, has launched “Saturday Life Barber Shop” in his hometown of Scarborough to bring an upscale barber shop experience to men and boys across the city.

Earlier this year, Harris launched Saturday Life Records, an independent record label to release new music and his upcoming debut EP – Prince Hills. As an extension of the brand, Saturday Life Barber Shop was created to provide an elevated haircare experience dedicated to men in Scarborough.

As an adolescent, Harris spent many Christmas mornings in various women’s shelters, alongside his mother and younger sister. A place of refuge for the Harris family was Dr. Roz’s Healing Place – A center for Empowerment and Healing. Knowing firsthand the struggle young mothers face living in shelters; Harris has partnered with Dr. Roz's Healing Place to give back this holiday season.

This weekend, Saturday Life Barber Shop will donate ten percent of all proceeds from every haircut between December 20 – 22, 2019, to purchase gifts for the young boys and girls staying with their mothers at Dr. Roz's Healing Place.

Saturday Life Barber Shop is an innovative new concept that blends traditional barbering with the latest trends and techniques. As a premium barber shop, it features a non-alcoholic beverage bar, lounge, and an in-house custom jewellery store.

The collaboration that formed Saturday Life Barber Shop stemmed from a high school friendship between Harris and co-owner/head barber, Akram Bekri. Together they both designed a unique space with a modern-day look and feel. The joint venture is a prototype of a national rollout of Saturday Life Records, infusing the music industry with a premium lifestyle experience.

“I grew up with my mom in Scarborough; we lived in and out of different women’s shelters. I couldn’t even afford a haircut, so I wanted to open a barber shop that supports my local community”, remarked Sage Harris. “Saturday Life Barber shop is an experience from start to finish, our guests leave feeling relaxed, and refreshed with a razor-sharp haircut”.

Haircut services for men and boys, including straight razor shaves for the head and face, hot towel treatment, beard trims, straight razor line up, hair designs, etc.
A modern and sophisticated atmosphere with a beverage bar, and custom in-house jewelry store while you wait

Saturday Life Barber Shop is now open located minutes away from the Scarborough Town Center at 108 Corporate Drive, Unit 8, Toronto Ontario.

Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday at 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Closed Sunday.
