A KID FROM CONEY ISLAND, DOCUMENTARY OF THE LIFE OF STEPHON MARBURY, PREMIERES AT THE BROOKLYN ACADEMY OF MUSIC

Last week, A Kid From Coney Island - the soulful documentary based on the life of former NBA player, Stephon Marbury premiered at the iconic Brooklyn Academy of Music. In attendance included Stephon Marbury, executive producers Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman, producers Forest Whitaker, Nina Yang Bongiovi, Jason Samuels, directors Chike Ozah and Coodie Simmons and more. The screening of the documentary also included a Q&A moderated by media personality Gia Peppers with most of the cast and crew of A Kid From Coney Island.

A Kid From Coney Island is slated for a March 10th limited theatrical release and is distributed via JDS Sports - a holding company that invests in the intersection of sports, media, and entertainment and includes SLAM Media, RTG Features, 1091 Media, Five-Star Basketball, VidMob, Transmit.Live, INFLCR (acquired by Teamworks), and more.
