R&B star Snoh Aalegra releases first single Dying 4 Your Love from forthcoming album

Following an explosive run as one of today’s most celebrated and critically acclaimed artists today, Iranian vocalist Snoh Aalegra (born Shahrzad Fooladi) makes her anticipated return with her new song “DYING 4 YOUR LOVE” and its striking companion video directed by I.P.W. The sultry new effort ushers in a new era for the songstress showcasing her sonic and personal evolution, all while staying true to her highly emotive signature sound that has received global acclaim. In a deeply confessional moment, the video brings to life the opulence and sensuality that lines her captivating sound and sees Snoh ravishing with dazzling ensembles and choreography by the renowned Parris Goebel.

In celebration, Snoh launched her new limited merch line featuring pieces inspired by her breakout album and “DYING 4 YOUR LOVE” - see link below. 50% of all proceeds being donated to UNTIL FREEDOM, an intersectional social justice organization rooted in the leadership of diverse people of color to address systemic and racial injustice.

Snoh continues to clock in millions of plays and her song “Whoa” is currently climbing at national radio, which follows her previous song “I Want You Around” that hit #1 at Urban AC. Her recent striking NPR Tiny Desk performance amassed nearly 1 million views in only a few days, one of the biggest in the series. It follows the lauded release of Pharrell’s rendition of her song “Whoa.” Snoh’s meteoric rise arrived with the release of her breakthrough album, '-Ugh, those feels again,' which debuted #1 on iTunes and became one of the most critically acclaimed R&B albums of the year on top of generating over 187 million streams globally. It has received praise from The New Yorker, NPR, FADER, Pitchfork, The Guardian, Vogue, Associated Press, Complex, Variety, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, i-D, Marie Claire, V Magazine, Teen Vogue, Paper Magazine, Buzzfeed, MTV, Nylon, Vibe, BET, Noisey, Women’s Wear Daily, Flaunt, Playboy, Exclaim! and many more.
