A message from Kandy K...

With all the tragedies going on in the world, I wanted to highlight a few that were most impactful to me and close to home.  Although I was keen on vocalizing a series of my own "painful" experiences, I wanted to the video to highlight other peoples painful situations. This song and video means a lot to me, as I pay homage to the passing of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, my friend GZ, and my friend Chanel's babyfather; Littles, who was murdered in front of their home due to gun violence.  I wanted this video to have a deeper meaning behind it, while allowing these names to live on through my music.
