Memphis rap star NLE Choppa is all about positive vibes as he unleashes a reflective, yet joyous new mixtape, Me Vs. Me. This latest project will be Choppa’s first full-length since his 2020 critically acclaimed, From Dark to Light. Like that project, Choppa uses Me Vs. Me to explore concepts of duality, self-growth, spirituality, and the search for inner peace.

Clocking in at 13 tracks, Me Vs. Me offers fans a bevy of new hits, each song offering its own standout moments and clever lyrics. The project begins with “Shotta Flow 6,” the latest in an epic series. The original “Shotta Flow” was released January 2019, and it’s staggering to hear how much he’s developed artistically and personally since that initial, already stunning release. “Shotta Flow 6” features catchy yet menacing piano and chest-pummeling bass that comes in to accompany Choppa’s epic delivery. With a double-time cadence, he raps about his relentless work ethic. “Said I was done, I’m back at it again,” he raps. “Back in their car and we spending their bands.” On the track and in the Ben Marc directed video, NLE Choppa makes it loud and clear: He’s back, and he’s ready to take what he deserves.
