RECAP: BDPE "Best Day Party Ever" Series Delivers Unforgettable 3-Part Detty December Experience

Welcome to the Best Day Party Ever!

Created by LBHQ, a curated experience company founded by six West Africans with one goal - to gather together young professionals in spaces where they can network, have fun and be themselves! 

In partnership with Uber and Martell, "Best Day Party Ever" (BDPE) brought together over 2,000 people for a three event series held in the US and West Africa. Over eight DJs curated legendary sets that had crowds screaming their name! 

Following the series kickoff event in New York, patrons booked flights to follow the BDPE team to their Lagos, Nigeria and Accra, Ghana leg of the event series.

On December 11th, LBHQ kicked off their year end celebrations with an intimate brunch in Downtown Brooklyn. The venue was a luxury private rooftop with breathtaking views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridge. Over 200 people were treated to good food, great music and amazing vibes!

On December 21st, LBHQ touched down in Lagos to host BDPE at Pura Vida Beach House on the private Ilashe Island. Martell provided the drinks as attendees were surrounded by palm trees, endless golden sands overlooking the Atlantic ocean. 

The secluded beachfront setting coupled with the villa’s luxurious ambiance, created an experience that aligned perfectly with the Pura Vida lifestyle concept of 'passionate serenity'. DJ DSF, Hol Up, Sydney Love, Quenchie and others provided the soundtracks for the day.

After Lagos, LBHQ headed to Accra to host BDPE, for the first time, at the exclusive Sandbox Beach Club. Ghana's most notable celebrities and influencers pulled up and partied the day and night away. Patrons were surrounded by attractions like body painters, pyrotechnic performers, carnival dancers and more. DJ Kobs, DJ Risky and more made sure the music was perfect and the vibes were on point. Located right off the beach at South Labadi Estates, Sandbox gives its guests the 5 star treatment with exceptional service and a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean.

 Looking back, the team is extremely proud of its accomplishments and thankful to all the guests and partners that made 2021 a tremendous success. LBHQ plans to host BDPE in more cities in 2022, with the goal of connecting with more beautiful people on rooftops or beaches across the world.
