Creative Control Duo - Coodie & Chike - Announce Exclusive Kanye West 'Jeen-Yuhs' Screening Event at NYC's very own SOB's

Prominent producer, director, screenwriter and cinematographer duo Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah best known as Coodie & Chike have collaborated with artist, record producer, businessman and fashion designer Kanye West to present Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy consisting of home videos, and never-before-seen footage shot by the duo over the course of over 20 years. The three part documentary unravels Kanye’s career from as early as 2000 when he was working on his multi-platinum debut album, The College Dropout. 

 

On February 21st, Coodie & Chike will be also celebrating the 40th anniversary of SOB’s on the stage Kanye West performed on during The College Dropout. They will be previewing episodes 2 and 3 and sharing never-before-seen footage from the documentary in addition to hosting an intimate Q&A conversation surrounding the making of the film alongside special guests to create a one-of-a-kind event.

Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy will premiere on Netflix on February 16. Limited edition physical merch will be made available virtually to commemorate SOB’s 40th anniversary in partnership with Jeen-Yuhs.
