A truly independent artist with a clear vision of what he wants sonically, visually and emotionally, Virginia to Vegas, aka Derik Baker, is an American-born Canadian singer-songwriter.

Brand new it’s a little complicated, but i’m okay. EP was made remotely from ideas that Baker had started at home or in hotel rooms or even many years ago. They were put together, sent to friends and sent back. His usual collaborators – Geoff Warburton and Mike Wise – returned to play their part with the addition of a few new writers who Baker worked with via voice notes.

Latest single, "no excuses," encompasses that feeling of being in love with one of your best friends. You finally tell yourself that you're not going to continue making excuses as to why you should express how you feel, and take that leap of faith.
