 “Impressions,” comes from my love and respect for jazz icons, who named some of their most celebrated tunes based on a feeling and the emotional response to the music. I want listeners to hear my music and slow down, enjoy the moment, and feel relaxed and elegant.

Similar to my previous single “Giants,” I took the same direction of creating an atmosphere and a sonic landscape with “Impressions.” It is layered with different textures of nature sounds and percussion to add to the swing of the beat. With both of these songs, I wanted to create a mood that you could imagine as the soundtrack of a slow motion sequence in a film.
