After the success and bevy of praises for his 2020 and 2021 indie projects CLRD and F.O.E.S during the height of a global pandemic, TODAY fast-rising Hip Hop lyricist and hit-making songwriter and producer PRICE unleashes his major label solo debut “THE PRICE EP’ which is available across all platforms via CLRD Entertainment / Motown Records.

Narrated by legendary Hip Hop impresario Wyclef Jean, the seven track EP features Wale, Big Krit and Elhae and combines PRICE’s lyrical sharpness and star-power with a powerhouse cadre of multi-Grammy award winning producers including Haze (Beyonce, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign, etc.,) DJ Camper (Jay-Z, Drake, Pusha T, etc.,) and 1500 Or Nuthin' (Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Nipsey Hussle, etc.). A highly sought-after producer and songwriter in his own right for stars such as Travis Scott, Kanye West, Hit-Boy, Ty Dolla $ign, Mariah and many others, PRICE also lays his producing prowess on “THE PRICE EP.”

In addition to the release of the EP, today PRICE also reveals his new single from the project titled “Problems” featuring Wale with a lyric video. On this track, the two wordsmiths shine a soulfully introspective light on dealing with mental health, a topic that is becoming more widely discussed in the Hip Hop community.

Speaking on the inspiration behind “THE PRICE EP”, PRICE says:

“The inspiration for THE PRICE EP came from my desire to give both loyal and new listeners a musical experience and display of my lyrical ability before the release of my full-length major label album later this year. Even when I tried, I still couldn’t hold back from my listeners which is why I was blessed to have artists like Wale, Krit, Elhae and Wyclef jump on! This is just the warmup. On this EP I’m giving fans what they are always gonna be able to expect from me…. A QUALITY MUSIC EXPERIENCE.”

“THE PRICE EP” immediately follows PRICE’s recent singles from the project “WITHOUT YOU” f/ Elhae which The Source declares that the soul stirring song “further validates his [Price’s] appeal and deal with Motown,” and UPROXX featured it on its “Best New Hip Hop This Week” list while his swaggering slick release ‘CURTIS’ featuring Big Krit was picked up by coveted Apple Music streaming playlists such as Base: Line, New in Hip Hop, Alt Rap, Hip Hop Workout and Spotify’s Release Radar.
