Enigmatic Hip-Hop Trio, Planet Giza release new single, “WYD”

Montreal-based, emerging Hip-Hop trio Planet Giza, consisting of members, Rami B, Tony Stone, and DoomX, distributed by AWAL, release their new track, “WYD.”

“WYD” marks the first single from Planet Giza’s soon to be released second album, Ready When You Are, and features Chicago lyricist, Saba, who gained notoriety for his collaborations with Chance The Rapper.

Following the success of their 2019 debut album Added Sugar, and the critics praised EP’s Don’t Throw Rocks at the Moon (2021), also You Don’t Understand (2022), the buzz around Planet Giza has been growing stronger, and their new edgy era is blossoming wonderfully.

Planet Giza members Rami B, Tony Stone, and DoomX have been bending genres and trailblazing their own musical path. Listed by COMPLEX as Canadian Artists to Watch in 2023 and on the NME 100: Essential Emerging Artists, the trio whose group name was inspired by the great Pyramids of Giza are a defining force fusing elements of Hip-Hop, R&B, Trap, Disco, and Soul into their sound.
