WALES BONNER + ADIDAS FW23 COLLECTION

One of the most promising newcomers in the fashion industry is Grace Wales Bonner, the founder of the London-based menswear label Wales Bonner. The London-based fashion designer will collaborate with adidas once more for a forthcoming Wales Bonner x Adidas FW23 footwear collection as a follow-up to their Spring/Summer 2022 collection.

Bonner returns to the classic adidas Samba and SL72 running shoe silhouettes from the FW20 and SS22 collections for this season. The Samba is made of full leather and has a reflective gunmetal finish. The sides and heel badge have decoratively stitched Three Stripes branding. While sitting atop an Earthy Brown rubber sole, its oversized tongues pay homage to vintage soccer boots.

There will be two color options for the SL72 Knit. They both have a knitted upper with suede overlays, as well as premium leather tongues, heels, and inner lining for an even higher level of luxury. One is dressed in green with yellow accents that contrast with it, while the other is dressed in brown with accents of burnt orange. Wales Bonner branding can be found on the lateral heel, insoles, and packaging of all three pairs.
