Teyana Taylor is known as a well-respected sneakerhead in the sneaker community in addition to being a singer, actress, dancer, and choreographer. She has previously collaborated with adidas and Reebok, and the Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 will be her own Air Jordan collaboration.

This version of the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 is dubbed "A Rose From Harlem" in reference to Taylor Swift's 2018 hit record "Rose in Harlem." It is completely redesigned in Gym Red, Black, Summit White, Earth, and Coconut Milk. Other striking subtleties incorporates a Dark calfskin Swoosh with crisscross sewing on the horizontal, while the average accompanies a weaved Red Swoosh with Green thistles. " The words "A Rose From Harlem" are printed on the inner ankle flaps, and the "TEY" branding is on the left tongue tag. The design is completed by custom insoles and unique packaging. The shoe will only be available in women's sizes.
