JID Reaches #1 at Rhythmic Radio, Will Join 21 Savage on American Dream Tour

GRAMMY nominated rapper and RIAA Platinum selling artist, JID celebrates a new milestone for hit single “Surround Sound” which reached the #1 spot at Rhythmic Radio this week. The song has surpassed over a billion streams and is also officially 2x RIAA Platinum. Featuring fellow Atlanta artists 21 Savage and Baby Tate “Surround Sound” is off JID’s critically acclaimed album, The Forever Story (Dreamville/Interscope) which debuted at #12 on the Billboard Hot 200 when it first released last year.

Alongside the radio win, JID also announced today that he will be joining fellow Atlanta rapper and collaborator 21 Savage on his American Dream Tour which kicks off in May in Vancouver, BC. Full tour routing can be found below with tickets officially on sale this Friday.

2024 has been an active year for JID who was named Lacoste’s Global Footwear Ambassador featuring a new shoe design (available now) and jumping on projects as a special guest feature including Lyrical Lemonade’s “Fly Away” alongside Ski Mask and Sheck Wes, French Montana’s “Praise God” and more. At the top of the year, JID released “30 Freestyle” with frequent collaborator Christo to set the tone and alert fans of new music to come in the coming months.
