PUSSY RIOT’S CREATOR NADYA TOLOKONNIKOVA ANNOUNCES LIVE APPEARANCES

Nadya Tolokonnikova, creator of the anti-Putin resistance art collective Pussy Riot, announces new Texas live appearances. On March 13th, Pussy Riot’s Nadya will perform in Houston, Texas, with the New Orleans-based Boyfriend serving as the opening act. Tickets will go on-sale this Friday, February 9th @ 10am CST. 

Details about SXSW appearances in Austin will be announced shortly. Later in April, there will be two rescheduled San Francisco dates with support from Boyfriend as well.

Tolokonnikova was named a top enemy of Russia for speaking out against Vladimir Putin's dictatorship throughout the last decade. In her inspiring TED Talk, she tells the story of her imprisonment and shares what motivates her resistance; delivering a powerful message to Putin himself.

Tolokonnikova's Putin’s Ashes art installation at Deitch Gallery in January 2023 propelled her into a new criminal case and put her on Russia’s most wanted criminal list.
