Island Records, Mercury Records, Republic Records in Conjunction with the REPUBLIC Corps Team Deliver Top 5 Albums on the Billboard 200
For the past two weeks, Island, Mercury and Republic Records made history. The three labels aligned with the the REPUBLIC Corps team to deliver the Top 5 Albums on the Billboard 200 with Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet at #1, Post Malone's F-1 Trillion at #2, Chappell Roan’s The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess at #3, Morgan Wallen’s One Thing At A Time (in partnership with Big Loud), at #4 and Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department at #5. In addition to claiming the Top 5, the labels also secured 7 of the Top 10 albums. Island Records is enjoying its most successful run in years as Sabrina Carpenter holds the top spot on the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks, while Mercury Records boasts four albums in the Top 10—this, in addition to Taylor Swift remaining a fixture in the Top 10 every week since the release of her groundbreaking album The Tortured Poets Department.
