Live From E! Exclusive: Met Gala 2025: Ciara's Met Gala Look Has Russell Wilson Joking About Baby No. 5

Ciara made her eighth Met Gala appearance at the 2025 fashion event, leveling up her style with husband Russell Wilson at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Crank the party up—because Ciara may get it on after the 2025 Met Gala.

The singer leveled up her style on May 5, arriving to New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art in a plunging LaQuan Smith number featuring cutouts and chain detailing.  Bringing out the goodies, she capped off her stunning look with large silver and black earrings. In fact, her look was so good that husband Russell Wilson joked to E! News' Zuri Hall about his hopes to "get Cinco tonight," referring to his cheeky campaign to add a fifth baby to his family with Ciara.

Her response? "He's trying to get Cinco, Seis and Siete," quipped Ciara, who shares kids Sienna, 8, Win, 4, and Amora, 16 months, with Russell and is also mom to 10-year-old son Future Jr. with ex Future.

But, according to the 39-year-old, she was feeling "wedding vibes" while getting ready with Russell for the Met Gala this year.

"I was a little giddy tonight," Ciara shared, "because he was getting prepared in one room and I was in the other, so we saw each other after we got dressed."

And Ciara's 'fit certainly followed the night's "Tailored For You" dress code, which, according to The Met, was "purposefully designed to provide guidance and invite creative interpretation" in celebration of the fundraiser's theme "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style." (Here are all the celebrity fashion looks.)

Centered around the 18th century looks investigated in Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, this year's Met Gala is helmed by Anna WintourColman DomingoLewis HamiltonA$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams, with LeBron James serving as honorary chair.

But this isn't Ciara's first time at the fashion fundraiser. In fact, she made her debut almost two decades ago in 2006.

At the time, the "Level Up" artist tapped into the Y2K trend, rocking a peachy gown featuring spaghetti straps and rhinestones to the party.

However, she's since 1, 2 stepped up her fashion game.

Take her appearance in 2019, when she embraced in the bash's "Camp: Notes on Fashion" theme with a custom emerald gown by Peter Dundas complete with cut-outs, gems and hundreds of ostrich feathers. Putting the "head" in head-turning fashion, Ciara styled her hair into an ultra-voluminous afro.

Two years later, she took a page out of Russell’s playbook, rocking a neon green dress—also designed by Dundas—modeled after his No. 3 jersey. Best of all, Ciara wore the NFL star's authentic Super Bowl ring as a nod to the America-centric celebration.

"Fashion is a big part of how I express myself and I feel like I've been challenging myself," she told Vogue on the 2021 red carpet. "When you look at some of those old photos, you're like, 'What was I thinking?' But I was expressing myself and I think that's the beauty and power of fashion."

Ciara added, "It's been really fun experimenting with fashion."
