Must-Have Capsule Collection

Collaboration between dynamic design firm and sophisticated, natural furnishings manufacturer

to bring design-forward products to residential and contract markets this fall 

FORM, the exclusive Los Angeles-based full-service design firm, and Selamat Designs, the San Francisco-based furniture manufacturer, are joining forces to create an exclusive, chic and timeless Capsule Collection. The collaboration that will produce a line of unique must-have furnishings is set to debut to the public in Austin, TX in November of this year in a pop-up shop setting with introductions in Las Vegas and High Point markets to follow in January 2016. After these select launch debuts, the line will be immediately available to the trade.

The collaboration will focus on all major categories in the home and hospitality markets, from larger anchor pieces to accessories. FORM pulled inspiration from a deep love for and respect of the hand-made.  

“Our collection is intended to be intimate and refined—it captures the simplest of forms and the finest of finishes; it may even ask you to think a little bit,” remarks Joshua Rose, one of the two principal designer at FORM. 

“The organization of ideas relies heavily on scale, angle, technique and juxtaposition,” said Rafael Kalichstein, FORM’s other principal designer. “It is meant to be approachable and visceral. We can’t wait to see it shine in projects around the globe.”

Selamat Designs boasts a broad range of customers from individual designers to large commercial designers and retail companies.
