G-Eazy Drops Major Coachella Spoiler to Larry King: “I’m Bringing Out a Mac Dre Hologram!”

The episode is now LIVE on Ora.tv (episodes premiere daily 2pm EST)

With his hit single 'Me, Myself & I' quickly rising the charts, rapper G-Eazy joins Larry on the Emmy-nominated series “Larry King Now” for a candid conversation about his path to success in the ultra-competitive music industry, the perils of superstardom, and why he doesn't like being compared to Eminem. G-Eazy also previews his upcoming Coachella performance and reveals his biggest pet peeve in a hilarious game of 'If You Only Knew.'

G-Eazy discusses his forthcoming Coachella 2016 appearance, and tells Larry what special guest will join him on stage. He reveals a big surprise: “I’m bringing out a Mac Dre Hologram! Technology is crazy now. You’ll actually believe it’s him.” He even invites Larry to perform at the festival, to which Larry says, “You got it!” We aren’t sure if either of those are April Fool jokes or not?

The rapper also tells Larry that any semblance of a "racial divide" in the rap and hip hop industries has vanished in 2016. He no longer has to defend his right to be a white man in a genre most known for it's black artists, saying “I think the music speaks for itself...It’s 2016. The world is changing.”

Although he feels comfortable with his music now, he does admit that he does not like being compared to a legend like Eminem. Rapper G-Eazy tells Larry that he is honored to be compared to Eminem and says, “Eminem is the greatest to ever do it, to put in a sentence.” However, he is not a fan of industry comparisons because it puts his artistry “in a box.”

Plus, the rapper opens up to Larry about dealing with fame, reveals who he thinks released the best album of 2016, and teaches Larry about his holographic co-performer, the late, great Mac Dre.
