The-Dream Announces Three-Part Album Set To Drop December 21st
Today, 4x Grammy-Award winning, platinum selling singer,
songwriter, producer and business mogul, The-Dream , announces the
official release of his forthcoming 6th studio album project - a 38 track,
three part installation promiscuously dubbed “Sex Tape Vol 1, Sextape Vol 2,
Sextape Vol 3.” Set for a December 21st release date under
The-Dream’s self owned label, RadioKilla Records and a distribution
partnership with L.A. Reid’s Hitco Entertainment, The-Dream sets to wow
new and returning fans alike once again with top quality production elements,
playful and provocative lyricism and an engulfing theme around the ambiguities
of sexual exploration. You can read the full exclusive story here via Billboard.
“My goal with the start of this series is to liberate the
lives of those who seek love, lust and honesty,” says The-Dream when asked
about the inspiration behind his forthcoming release. “This is me and my
lover’s ongoing diary - truly an unapologetic treat to the world of R&B.”
While his penmanship across smash records such as Beyoncé ’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” Ciara ’s “Ride” and Justin Bieber ’s “Baby” have amassed him platinum status behind the scenes, The-Dream has quietly driven the ever-changing sound of the R&B genre for the past decade as a solo artist having five studio albums already under his belt, a slew of compilations projects including fan favorite The Love Trilogy , undeniable hit records such as “I Luv Your Girl,” “Make Up Bag,” and “IV Play” and most recently, his visual album Genesis (2016). With this new installation of Sex Tape volumes, The-Dream aims to let people into the charisma of his world, telling tales of lavish lifestyle experiences that entice desire, invoking the nature of adulthood and promoting freedom and independence in whichever way you chose to explore as a listener - all while creating quality music that defies trend and shifts R&B culture.
You’re in for a wild ride...are you ready to dream?
