TONIGHT: Ashley Madison’s Resident Sex Therapist, Nick Cannon, and DVSN Discuss Open Monogamy on YouTube Live
Ashley Madison’s resident sex therapist sits down with Nick Cannon and OVO’s R&B duo DVSN
In celebration of the release of DVSN’s new single, “If I Get Caught”—available to stream everywhere on July 22, 2022—Nick Cannon and DVSN will participate in a live chat on YouTube with Dr. Tammy Nelson, author of Open Monogamy and Ashley Madison’s resident sex therapist. They will discuss the concept of open monogamy and how couples can initiate honest conversations about their needs and desires.
According to recent data from Ashley Madison, non-monogamy—romantic relationships that aren’t exclusive and feature multiple partners—is becoming more and more accepted by society, particularly among young people. In fact, one quarter (24%) of Americans say society would benefit from a shift toward non-monogamy, including 40% of Gen Z and Millennials. The study also found that more than one quarter (26%) of Americans say their ideal relationship is something non-monogamous.
“The pandemic inspired honest conversations about relationships, particularly how monogamy doesn’t work for everyone,” says Isabella Mise, Senior Director of Communications for Ashley Madison. “DVSN is bringing to light the fact that romance and intimacy don’t always have to be reserved for just one person. And we’re excited for the opportunity to have Dr. Tammy Nelson spread awareness about the concept of open monogamy,”
The chat will take place tonight, Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 11:30 PM ET and is accessible through this link or watch below.
