“STORMTROOPER” RELEASES SPRING 2024 ANTHONY EDWARDS’ AE 1

As 2023 drew to a close, rising star Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves unveiled his first signature shoe, the adidas AE1, in three electrifying colorways. Following the successful launch of the "With Love" edition, the AE1 now welcomes a familiar silhouette inspired by Kobe Bryant's iconic adidas Crazy 1 "Stormtrooper."

This "Stormtrooper" AE1 inherits the sleek design of its predecessor, featuring a black knit textile upper with a supportive TPU cage. The cage, finished in white and adorned with honeycomb perforations, enhances breathability and stability. A touch of Anthony Edwards' personality is evident in the woven tongue tag bearing his initials, while the back heel proudly displays the Neon Green adidas Three Stripes logo.

The midsole of the AE1 is where the innovative combination of Boost and Lightstrike takes center stage.
