Grace Foods Canada, known for its community engagement, high-quality products, and authentic Caribbean flavours, is proud to celebrate Patty Day on Sunday, February 23, 2025, and to recognize the 40th anniversary of the infamous ‘Patty Wars’. Patty Day highlights the enormous contributions of Jamaican immigrants to our culinary landscape and symbolizes the resilience of the Jamaican-Canadian community. Grace is inviting Canadians to commemorate the occasion with several initiatives that give back and highlight Grace’s Jerk Chicken and Beef Patties in both the hot and mild varieties.

Giving Back with Every Purchase

In the spirit of Patty Day, Grace Foods Canada is dedicated to making a meaningful impact. For every box of Grace’s Jerk Chicken and Beef Patties sold in Canada on February 21, 22, and 23, Grace is donating one pound of its products to local food banks across the country. Grace hot and mild Jerk Chicken Patties and hot and mild Beef Patties are available at FreshCo and select

Sobeys throughout Canada. Every purchase helps to increase Grace’s donation.

Grace Patty Giveaway at Toronto’s Union Station

On Friday, February 21 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., Grace is giving away boxes of its frozen Jerk Chicken Patties and Beef Patties at Union Station (near Front & Bay St. entrance) Maximum of one Grace product per person.

Win a Year’s Supply of Grace Jerk Patties!

As part of the Patty Day festivities, Grace Foods Canada is running an Instagram giveaway where fans can enter for a chance to win a year’s supply of Grace Jerk Chicken and Beef Patties (26 boxes of six patties). To enter the random draw, users simply need to like, tag a friend, and share the giveaway post on @gracefoodsca. Contest begins on Friday, February 21 and continues through Sunday, February 23. No purchase required. The contest winner will be contacted in March.

Patty Playlists featuring artists from Canada, Jamaica, and the Caribbean diaspora. Each playlist runs 20 minutes – the exact time it takes to heat a frozen Grace Patty in the oven – and offers the perfect soundtrack to enjoy Grace’s authentic Jamaican flavours. The Patty Playlists span multiple genres including reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, soca, and R&B, and celebrate a rich musical heritage.
